Autonomous AI Hacker for Enterprise Penetration Testing
Tenzai is developing autonomous, AI-driven penetration testing agents designed to replicate and scale the capabilities of elite human offensive security experts. The platform continuously discovers, exploits, and remediates vulnerabilities across enterprise applications, operating at machine speed and without the limitations of human testers. Instead of scanning for known CVEs, Tenzai’s agents perform full kill-chain operations — reconnaissance, exploitation, privilege escalation, and lateral movement — mirroring how sophisticated adversaries actually behave.
The company is built by veterans of offensive cyber units and teams behind technologies at Guardicore and Snyk. In November 2025 the company secured a notable $75 million seed round led by Greylock Partners, Battery Ventures, and Lux Capital. Swish Ventures participated in the round along with unnamed angels.
Tenzai frames its mission around addressing the acute scarcity of expert penetration testers and the accelerating complexity of modern systems, arguing that AI has changed the rules of security. By capturing and scaling the thought processes of top hackers, Tenzai aims to provide continuous, automated security assurance at a depth and speed that traditional testing cannot match.
